🚂 Getting there by public transportation: The fastest way is to take the regional train from Hamburg Central Station. In just under 20 minutes, you’ll reach the Ahrensburg train station, from where it’s about a 15-minute walk through the town to the castle.
🚗 For drivers: Depending on your starting point in Hamburg, Ahrensburg is about 30 km away and takes roughly 30 to 40 minutes to reach. Parking is available near the palace.
