1st Historic Christmas market at the town hall
Under the motto “art instead of commerce” , the historic Christmas market at the town hall is an absolute highlight of the city. The flying Christmas market in particular makes children’s eyes light up. In addition to the usual treats, this market offers unusual arts and crafts as well as wood carvings from Tyrol and much more. With 80 stands and almost three million visitors, the historic Christmas market is one of the largest and most popular.

2nd St. Pauli Christmas Market
Christmas and show are combined on the Reeperbahn: With striptease performances from Thursday to Saturday, this market will create an erotic atmosphere that will make you glow. You can also enjoy thrilling live music from talented artists on the stage at Santa Pauli. Enjoy the beautiful show accompanied by a delicious hot drink or a treat offered at the stalls.

3rd HafenCity Christmas Market
Just a few meters away from the hustle and bustle of the town hall, the somewhat smaller and cozier Christmas market on Überseeboulevard awaits you. Here you can not only enjoy traditional treats and hot punch or mulled wine, but also take the opportunity to play winter mini golf. This exciting activity is perfect for the whole family as well as for daycare groups and school classes.

4th “White Magic“ on the Alster
The “Weißer Zauber am Jungfernstieg” Christmas market delights visitors with its enchanting play of light and excellent location directly on the Inner Alster. From here you have a fascinating view of the festively decorated Alster fir tree. The large selection of craft stalls offers the opportunity to find special Christmas gifts and souvenirs for your loved ones. A highlight of the White Magic Land is the historic Ferris wheel from 1899, on which you can enjoy a lovely ride accompanied by culinary delights.

5th Ottensen Christmas Market
The Ottensen Christmas market is characterized by its authenticity ! The enchanting lights and festive decorations give the entire district a warm and Christmassy atmosphere. 6th Winter Pride Christmas market
Hamburg’s only queer Christmas market has once again unleashed its colorful magic on the city this year. In the middle of St. Georg, Winter Pride becomes a party paradise at the weekends! From 7 p.m. onwards, hip DJs play cool hits and beats to create a great atmosphere. A special feature of Winter Pride is the fundraising campaigns in aid of various institutions and organizations.

7th StrandPauli Winter Market
The StrandPauli is transformed into a winter wonderland just in time for the cold season and can be experienced until the end of March. With an enchanting view of the Elbe, you can enjoy Hamburg’s maritime atmosphere. This longest Christmas market in the city offers mulled wine, bratwurst, delicious mushrooms and more – all right on the beach!
