Spatial and temporal infinity is difficult to grasp. Nevertheless, mathematics, physics and not least cosmology show that it exists in reality. Philosophy and theology have always been concerned with the concept of eternal life. All these big questions about human existence will take on a new dimension from February 12, 2026 at the Kulturkirche Altona. The immersive show PROJEKTIL presents: Infinity takes you into the infinity of the universe, opens your eyes to the moment of eternity and illuminates the great questions of meaning in a unique way. “Infinity” – A journey to our existence
PROJEKTIL presents: Infinity takes you through eight cosmic chapters and illustrates how the concept of infinity becomes tangible in mathematics, physics, cosmology, theology and philosophy. Complex ideas about time, space and existence become clear, emotional experiences. The vastness of the cosmos makes us feel our own smallness. It inspires us to broaden our horizons and think more deeply about life. The artist collective PROJEKTIL takes us from the smallest moment to eternity, from the microcosm to the macrocosm and from our own self to its finiteness. The show thus invites self-reflection and an examination of the depths of one’s own soul.
Experience infinity with all your senses
Luminous projections and a soundtrack inspired by Bach will take you on a moving journey through space and time.
