Cozy concerts by candlelight
And if you simply want to sit back and enjoy a cozy atmosphere, then a candlelight concert is just the thing for you: surrounded by countless candles, you can indulge in the enchanting music and experience your favorite songs in a classical version. With family, friends or simply alone – enjoy a unique musical experience that will make your January unforgettable.
The night of comedy
January is gray enough, then we should also have something to laugh about. In fact, we can do that every weekend: Various artists perform at the St. Pauli Comedy Club, testing out new material or on the verge of a breakthrough. You sit close to the stage – almost on the stage – which allows for direct interaction between the audience and the comedians. A must for anyone who wants to experience comedy before it lands on the big stages.

Watch out crumble cake fans ! The famous food trend from major cities such as London also conquered Hamburg last year and continues to sweeten us up in January. The crumble cups are a culinary delight that makes us reminisce about grandma’s crumble cake, but in a completely new form. A homemade compote of cherry, plum or apricot, followed by homemade crumble (also available vegan), liquid topping and finally chocolate sprinkles, brittle etc. on top. You can enjoy this sweet treat on Tuesdays and Fridays at the Isemarkt market, on Thursdays at the Turmweg market and on Sundays at the Övelgönne museum harbor.

In the month of good intentions, we should also celebrate life. The “Alles wird gut” tour does just that. The live shows of the Hamburg band Liedfett are known for their unique energy, which encourages the audience to sing and dance along. Experience German-language indie, pop, punk and songwriter soul. The demand was so enormous that there is even an additional show on January 25 in addition to the planned performance on Saturday, January 24.
