A new exhibition brings works by the artist Banksy to Hamburg
While the artist Banksy himself is considered an absolute phantom of the art world, his street art is world-famous! Now House of Banksy – An Unauthorized Exhibition is dedicated to works by the artist. Graffiti, photographs, sculptures, video installations and prints on various materials such as canvas, wood, aluminum, plaster, concrete, brick and Plexiglas were reproduced especially for the show and brought together in an elaborate frame.

The route leads through the city center and over the famous Köhlbrand Bridge, which is normally closed to cyclists. Spectators can watch the fast-paced maneuvers and exciting finishes at various hotspots along the route. If you don’t ride a bike yourself, there are numerous events around the race where you can enjoy the atmosphere.

Harvest apples in the Altes Land
When autumn arrives in Hamburg, the apple harvest also begins in the Altes Land, just a short drive from the city. Here you can not only pick fresh apples straight from the tree, but also enjoy local delicacies such as apple pie and freshly squeezed apple juice. The Altes Land is also ideal for relaxing walks among the orchards and many farms offer guided tours where you can learn more about the traditions of the region.
