On September 13, 2025, Voices of Fire performed at “Grace for the World” in St. Peter’s Square, bringing their stirring harmonies to the Vatican stage. They are among the most inspiring voices in contemporary gospel music, and their performance was considered one of the highlights of the event.
With energetic performances by THE ONE FEAT. PHARRELL WILLIAMS, ANYWHERE and MIRACLE WORKER from their new album, they added the icing on the cake to an already top-class line-up. Andrea Bocelli, John Legend, Clipse, Jennifer Hudson and Karol G also took to the stage.
The timing couldn’t have been better: The choir released OPHANIM just last week, opening a new chapter in its history.

Voices of Fire: their roots and their rise
The gospel group was born out of the Netflix documentary of the same name, in which Pharrell Williams and his uncle, Bishop Ezekiel Williams, searched for musical talent to build a world-class gospel choir. In Pharrell’s hometown of Hampton Roads, Virginia, the show brought together people of all ages and backgrounds.
Voices of Fire quickly rose to fame – not least thanks to their collaboration in “JOY (Unspeakable)”, in which their voices combined with Pharrell’s production to create a moving gospel-pop fusion.
Away from the music, you may have spotted the talented choir at Pharrell Williams’ first menswear show as creative director in 2023 – or this year at Paris Fashion Week for the Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2026 show. Combining style and spiritual sound, Voices of Fire were quickly catapulted onto the international stage.
OPHANIM release
Voices of Fire ‘s new album has recently been released and once again underlines their collaborative spirit with 13 tracks. In addition to the previously announced song “Miracle Worker”, OPHANIM also contains future hits with artists from the “Grace for the World” concert – including “The One” with Pharrell Williams, “Business” ft. John Legend and “Won’t He Do It?” with Teddy Swims. Other celebrity guests include CeeLo Green & Quavo and Zacardi Cortez.
Released via Warner Records, OPHANIM is available as a digital download on the Voices of Fire website – there is also a limited vinyl edition with custom cover artwork for each song.
With OPHANIM fresh on the market and the historic “Grace for the World” concert behind them, Voices of Fire are really blossoming at the moment.
